Lauren Gulyas

Originally from Ottawa, Lauren has always dreamed of hosting a cooking show. After attending culinary school at Algonquin College, Lauren convinced the chef of her favourite restaurant, the Wellington Gastropub, to give her a shot and worked under his supervision for two years. Lauren perfected her culinary craft in some of the industry’s best kitchens in Ottawa, Prince Edward County, British Columbia and Costa Rica. After years of working behind the scenes in restaurants, Lauren is now focusing on her food television career. She loves to inspire viewers to expand their culinary skills, while having fun doing it. Her culinary philosophy is to “Cook and be Fabulous.”
