Originally from the Catalan Pyrenees, Luis “Tigretón” Leon is a Montreal-based chef who specializes in Spanish food. Determined to perfect his craft, Tigretón traveled across Spain, working in kitchens from Valencia, to Madrid. Tigretón expanded his culinary expertise in London where he prepared French and Japanese food in Michelin-star restaurants. In 2010, Tigretón moved to Montreal, Canada, where he started a catering business, serving up his specialty, traditional paellas, and Spanish tapas for large festivals. Tigretón’s culinary dream is to open his own restaurant, where he’ll serve traditional Spanish food.
